Party with Kay Cassidy

Welcome Kay Cassidy to the party!

Kay is a TFC sister as well as a GCC sister. I finally got to meet her in person a couple of weeks ago at our power cheesecake summit in Dayton. (Never underestimate the power of cheesecake.) I was afraid I'd be intimidated - I mean, Kay is a member of Mensa. She's the founder of the national Great Scavenger Hunt Contest™ reading program for kids and teens featured in School Library Journal Teen and Publisher’s Weekly Children’s Bookshelf. And she's co-founder of Living Your Five™, an organization all about making a difference in the world. Plus, I'm a fangirl of her writing. But there is nothing intimidating about her at all. She's open and friendly and extremely welcoming.
Kay is the author of teen fiction she wishes was based on her real life. In her spare time, Kay loves watching Glee and Life Unexpected, hanging out on Twitter, and reading. Lots and lots of reading.

Here's the blurb on The Cinderella Society:

Sixteen-year-old Jess Parker survives by staying invisible. After nine schools in ten years, she's come to terms with life as a perpetual new girl, neither popular nor outcast. At Mt. Sterling High, Jess gets the chance of a lifetime: an invitation to join The Cinderella Society, a secret club of the most popular girls in school, where makeovers are the first order of official business. But there's more to being a Cindy than just reinventing yourself from the outside, a concept lost on Jess as she dives tiara-first into creating a hot new look.

With a date with her popular crush and a chance to finally fit in, Jess's life seems to be a perfect fairy tale. That is until the Wickeds--led by Jess's archenemy--begin targeting innocent girls in their war against the Cindys, and Jess discovers her new sisterhood is about much more than who rules Mt. Sterling High School. It's a centuries-old battle of good vs. evil, and the Cindys need Jess on special assignment. But when the mission threatens to destroy her new dream life, Jess is forced to choose between this dream realized and honoring the Sisterhood. What's a girl to do when the glass slipper fits, but she doesn't want to wear it anymore?

Kay's numbers:

Your compound vibration numbers are sixteen and eleven.

Eleven is a master number, which is associated with wisdom, intellect and spirituality. Elevens are altruistic, sensitive, artistic, visionary, idealistic, have a sense of community. The number eleven can also hold a warning of hidden treachery from others, or a person who has a great deal to contend with.

The number Sixteen gives a warning of accidents or the defeat of one's plans. It should be carefully noted and plans made in advance to avert its fatalistic tendency. Sixteens should trust their own intuition to avoid hardship.

Your name number value is two.

The number two indicates someone who is empathetic, cooperative, considerate, but in some cases, co-dependent. Twos make good partners or diplomats.

Her reaction:

Eleven – I've gotten this one before when I had my numbers done, and a friend who was with me went, "Oh my gosh, that's totally Kay!" So I guess I'd have to say bingo to this one, even though it's weird to say "Why yes, I *am* visionary and wise." ;-) But I do strive to be altruistic and give back, so that part is an active piece of who I strive to be on my best day. :-)

Sixteen – Ooo… this sounds like a great plot twist. Too bad it's talking about my life! LOL Seriously though, I think intuition is essential to staying centered and happy. There are so many ways to get off course in life and in my career, but making sure I'm following my head AND my heart is definitely something I focus on. I'm analytical by nature so it's easy for my brain to take over and try to make all the decisions. But sometimes you have to go with your gut and trust that it's the right course for you. That's what I did when I decided to write fiction for teens and tweens. And that ended up being one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Two – This one made me laugh out loud. I had someone once tell me when I worked in the corporate world that I would make a good politician because I was so diplomatic and tactful. I laughed and joked that I couldn't imagine being a politician because I have a really reeeeeeally low tolerance level for b.s. :-) I do try to be positive and tactful though because I think there are a lot of people in the world who enjoy being snarky and disrespectful in public. I think there's enough negativity in the world that I don't want to add to it, you know? I would much rather counteract it with acts of kindness and being positive. Nice girls CAN win!

Today's daily giveaway is a double: A copy of Selfish Elf Wish by Heather Swain, and a custom Cinderella Society bookmark and glass slipper, courtesy of Kay.

Party with Chelsea Swiggett

Hey, it's Chelsea! Welcome to the party!

I'm a huge fan of Chelsea's. She's a book blogger (blogging as the Page Flipper), she's a master organizer, wonderful at bringing people together, and she is the talented author of RAE, a novel in the Louder Than Words series. Chelsea's eighteen years old and will soon be heading to college to major in English and immerse herself even further into the world of books and writing. She serves on the Ypulse Youth Advisory Board and plans on traveling the world — or at least the U.S. — by the time 2012 hits. Just in case.

Here's the blurb about RAE:

Rae is beyond socially awkward.

Since she was a little girl, Rae knew something was different about her. The sound of planes flying overhead could spark a panic attack. Being called on in class was enough to push her over the edge. She feared the unknown, life, death, people . . . even fear itself.

By the time she reached ninth grade, Rae was muddling through life in relative silence, convinced everyone was mocking her, judging her, picking her apart, bit by little bit. Rae knew she couldn’t keep going on this way. She knew something had to give.

Here are Chelsea's numbers and her reaction:

Eleven is a master number. It is associated with wisdom, intellect and spirituality. Elevens are altruistic, sensitive, artistic, visionary, idealistic, have a sense of community. Eleven can also be a warning of hidden dangers, treachery from others, or a person who has a great deal to contend with.

Would it be narcissistic of me to say this is accurate? I like to think of myself as an academic, so I'm in the pursuit of wisdom - even if I haven't gained it yet. ;) And I hope I'm considered artistic because I really need an excuse for the reason I spend so much time in another world, writing fictional characters. But let's hope the latter part of this half isn't as true as the first. I'm not a fan of treachery.

Twenty-five This is a number denoting strength gained through experience, and benefits obtained through observation of people and things. It is not deemed exactly "lucky", as its success is given through strife and trials in an earlier life. It is favorable when it appears in regard to the future.

I am rather observant (almost to an eerie degree.) I tend to watch my surroundings a lot and analyze them. I guess 25 is alright. We all go through trails, right? At least I get some strength out of mine!

Twenty-nine is a warning number, which foreshadows trials, uncertainty and difficulty. These difficulties should be viewed as opportunities to learn. People influenced by this number struggle between logic and emotion.

...*cough* It looks like I have some fun waiting for me! And I really do struggle between logic and emotion. I'm probably one of the most indecisive people you'll ever meet because I overthink everything.

Your name number vibration is nine.

Nine is considered sacred by the Chaldeans. It contains the forces of all the other numbers and stands for a complete cycle of growth. Nines tend to be selfless, compassionate and tolerant. Many nines are blessed with artistic genius. Nines are independent and headstrong, and don’t like to leave things undone.

Yay, I'm sacred! And I'm a genius! I agree. :) I'm not entirely tolerant (it depends on the situation), but I'm very headstrong. I like this one!

You can find Chelsea online at The Page Flipper.

Today's daily giveaway is a double: A copy of Selfish Elf Wish by Heather Swain, and a custom Cinderella Society bookmark and glass slipper, courtesy of Kay Cassidy.

Party with Heather Swain

Please welcome Heather Swain to the party!

Heather is the author of the young adult novels ME, MY ELF, AND I and its sequel SELFISH ELF WISH. When she's not busy writing about elves, she's usually finding ways to entertain her kids with toilet paper tubes and drinking straws. You can find her crafty ideas in the book MAKE THESE TOYS: 101 CLEVER CREATIONS FROM EVERYDAY ITEMS. Heather lives in a crooked house in Brooklyn with her husband, children, and dog.

Here's the lowdown on SELFISH ELF WISH:

In this sequel to ME, MY ELF, AND I, Zephyr Addler has a problem. She's keeping secrets from her friends, and the guys she likes, Timber. But what else can she do. After all, it's not that easy being an elf in the middle of Brooklyn--especially when she's not allowed to use magic to hide her family's quirky elfin ways. To make matters worse, Bella, the meanest girl in school, Zephyr's arch-rival, and costar in the school play, has vowed to make Zephyr's life a living nightmare. Can Zephyr keep it together long enough to win Timber over, or will she give in to temptation and work some forbidden elfin magic in the school halls?

Now for Heather's numbers:

Your compound value number is eleven, which is a master number. It is associated with wisdom, intellect and spirituality. Elevens are altruistic, sensitive, artistic, visionary, idealistic, have a sense of community. Eleven can also be a warning of hidden dangers, treachery from others, or a person who has a great deal to contend with.

Your name number is two. The number two indicates someone who is empathetic, cooperative, considerate, but in some cases, co-dependent. Twos make good partners or diplomats.

And her response:

Who wouldn't love being told she's wise, altruistic, considerate, and visionary! I'd like to think those are characteristics I try to imbue in the characters of my books. As for the hidden dangers lurking behind the 11, I'll leave that for my character Zephyr to deal with in SELFISH ELF WISH as she battles the nefarious dark elves who've infiltrated the Brooklyn music scene and her hidden hometown Alverland in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan.

You can read more about Heather and her books at heatherswainbooks.com.

Today's daily giveaway is a double: A copy of Selfish Elf Wish by Heather, and a custom Cinderella Society bookmark and glass slipper, courtesy of Kay Cassidy.

Party with Gena Showalter

Bonus! Because it's exactly one week until the release of TRANCE, we're doing two big-time giveaways today. Two New York Times bestselling books. Two winners. Party time!

Please join me in welcoming party girl Gena Showalter to the blog. Gena's an agency sister and the best-selling author of over twenty books in a variety of genres, including Unraveled, the second book in her YA Intertwined series. She is universally acknowledged to be "made of awesome."

About Unraveled:

For once, sixteen-year-old Aden Stone has everything he’s ever wanted:
A home.

Friends.
The girl of his dreams.
Too bad he’s going to die...

Since coming to Crossroads, Oklahoma, former outcast Aden Stone has been living the good life. Never mind that one of his best friends is a werewolf, his girlfriend is a vampire princess who hungers for his blood, and he’s supposed to be crowned Vampire King – while still a human! Well, kind of.

With four – oops, three now — human souls living inside his head, Aden has always been “different” himself. These souls can time travel, raise the dead, possess another’s mind, and, his least favorite these days, tell the future.

The forecast for Aden? A knife through the heart.

Because a war is brewing between the creatures of the dark, and Aden is somehow at the center of it all. But he isn’t about to lie down and accept his destiny without a fight. Not when his new friends have his back, not when Victoria has risked her own future to be with him, and not when he has a reason to live for the first time in his life.

Her reading and reactions:

Your compound name values are fourteen and thirty-six.

Fourteen is associated with movement, creativity, and changes. It holds a strong element of risk attached to it, usually caused by the actions and foolhardiness of others.

GS - Change is one of the hardest things for me to deal with, so I usually try to avoid it. I love having a routine, and when that routine is thrown off, stress happens.

Thirty-six indicates serenity and the achievement of material security – a reward of productive intellect. A person influenced by thirty-six will work hard to carve out a successful career for themselves. The creative seeds they sow will reap a harvest.

GS - I am all about goal and reward. I set a goal for myself, and then do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. Afterward, I reward myself. The prize could be a day at the movies or — if the goal is big enough -- a week long staycation. This is a routine of mine, which goes straight back to number 14 :)

Your name number vibration is five.

The number five indicates someone who is a good communicator, loves travel, is versatile, but not happy in subordinate positions. Fives make great speakers, counselors, and teachers.

GS - This one missed me by a mile. I hate to travel and speak in public. I am happiest at home, frolicking through the worlds I create, emailing/calling friends, and spending time with my family.

Today's second daily giveaway is a signed copy of Unraveled!

Party with Becca Fitzpatrick

I've been waiting to get my hands on CRESCENDO from the moment I turned the last page on HUSH, HUSH. The waiting is almost over - it officially releases on October 19... and one of today's lucky readers will win a signed copy, courtesy of the cool and generous Becca Fitzpatrick. (Good thing I have my copy pre-ordered, or I might be tempted to break my own rules and enter this drawing myself!)

Becca knew she wanted to be an author the moment she watched Romancing the Stone in third grade. She grew up, graduated college with a degree in health, and then promptly abandoned it for storytelling. When not writing, she's most likely running, prowling sale racks for shoes, or fulfilling her mission to taste every flavor of ice cream under the sun. She lives in Colorado, the lone girl in a house filled with boys. Her first book, Hush, Hush, debuted as a New York Times bestseller. The sequel, Crescendo, hits the shelves in less than two weeks!

Here's the official blurb for CRESCENDO:

Nora should have known her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described as anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marci Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.

The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

Becca's reading and reaction:

Your compound number values are fourteen and forty-one.

Fourteen is a command number, associated with movement, creativity, and changes. It holds a strong element of risk attached to it, usually caused by the actions and foolhardiness of others. These words are all foreign to me. Command? Risk? Chances? Foolhardiness? Okay, so maybe the last one applies...to me...a tiny bit...

Forty-one holds power like the single 5, or the "command" numbers 14 and 23. It is associated with lofty ideals and work ethic, resulting in success and international acclaim.

Ha! Love this one. International acclaim? I'll take it! Seriously, though, I would agree with the lofty ideals and work ethic part. If there is one thing my parents taught me as a child, it was to work hard. Because of it, I came out of childhood believing I could do anything. Anyone who knows me would agree that I hold a high standard for myself and those around me. My mom still loves to tell the story of me, as a teenager, asking her in exasperation, “Why doesn't everyone just do the best job they can? I don't understand why they don't try harder!”

The number one indicates someone who is creative, independent, original, individual. Ones are good self-starters and natural leaders. Ones show interest in the arts, such as singing, acting, writing, painting, and love to curl up with a good book.

Aw, this number is speaking to my heart. Writing? Curling up with a good book? I think it's safe to say those are pretty accurate. And while I agree with the being a self-starter bit, and being independent, I would emphatically disagree with the idea that I'm a natural leader. I'm such a lone wolf. I like taking charge of myself and my own destiny, but I tend to shy away from getting involved in others' lives. It has always been this way. As a teen, I loathed team sports. I didn't like the idea that we all had to rely on each other, for better or worse. The sports I was completely committed to and thrived at were cross-country and track. When I'm put in a group situation, I hang back and let someone else take charge.

Birthdate: You are a number three.

The number three indicates someone who is artistic, social, friendly, and in some cases, wasteful. Threes tend to be creative, sensitive, ambitious and intuitive.

Wasteful. Ugh, yes. I'm trying to improve, but I do have the bad habit of buying things I don't need or even want. I think it goes back to my senior year of high school, when my dad left and my family was suddenly thrust into the scary position of not having money. I went from shopping every weekend...to going on free lunch. It was humiliating and horrible, and now I hate the feeling of “not having.” Which is why I often end up buying things I don't even need! I'd also agree that I'm friendly, sensitive (overly) and intuitive. Social? Only when I have to be!

Today's lucky daily giveaway winner will receive a signed copy of Crescendo!

Party with Mara Purnhagen

Welcome party girl, Mara Purnhagen to the blog! We hosted Mara here earlier, when her book Tagged came out. Recently, I was able to meet her in person (when we both went to the Smart Chicks Kick It tour in Cincinnati) and she generously offered to add her new book, Past Midnight, to the Trance party prize list.

Cool stuff about Mara:

She writes to music, and creates a playlist when she's working on a book.
Once she got lost in France and ended up camping for a week with Polish tourists. True story.
She loves guacamole, tall caramel lattes, and her iPod.
Mara has died her hair a rainbow of colors, including red, blue, green, purple, and orange.

The official blurb about Past Midnight:

Let me set the record straight. My name is Charlotte Silver and I'm not one of those paranormal-obsessed freaks you see on TV…no, those would be my parents, who have their own ghost-hunting reality show. And while I'm usually roped into the behind-the-scenes work, it turns out that I haven't gone unnoticed. Something happened on my parents' research trip in Charleston—and now I'm being stalked by some truly frightening other beings. Trying to fit into a new school and keeping my parents' creepy occupation a secret from my friends—and potential boyfriends—is hard enough without having angry spirits whispering in my ear. All I ever wanted was to be normal, but with ghosts of my past and present colliding, now I just want to make it out of high school alive….

Mara's reading:

Your compound number vibrations are forty and twelve.
Twelve is a higher octave of the number three. It is considered to be the ancient number of completion and is an indicator of great understanding and creative capacity. Twelve can also foreshadow one being sacrificed for the plans or intrigues of others.
I love that “creative capacity” is mentioned. I’m not sure how much greater understanding I possess, though: I’ve been married for over a decade and have three sons and I still cannot figure out the inner workings of the male brain (except that it seems to be driven by a need to watch football and consume Doritos).
I thought the aspect of “being sacrificed for the plans of others” was interesting. I’m sure we’ve all had experiences in which we felt used, but this really resonated with me. I’ve gone through several serious situations with people I thought were my friends, but they slipped out my life after I helped them in a significant way. It’s made me wary of people’s motives, I think, and it’s something that shows up in my novels.

Forty indicates success in business, literature and statistics. A person influenced by this number gains fame by lecturing, writing, or by occupying an authoritative position. They may have friends who propel them to important positions. They are fun people to be around, while on their road to fame.
Very cool that this mentioned writing. I’m not good with business or statistics, though. I taught high school for six years, and I think that fits the “authoritative position.” I like to think of myself as fun to be around (except in the mornings—I am NOT a morning person). I laughed at the “road to fame” part.

Your name number vibration is three. The number three indicates someone who is artistic, social, friendly, but in some cases, can be wasteful. Threes tend to be creative, sensitive, ambitious and intuitive.
I think this fits me pretty well. And I agree with the wasteful. I went through a period in which I refused to use anyone’s silverware, even in restaurants. It was a germ thing. I carried plasticware with me everywhere. My purse was stuffed with plastic forks. Looking back, it was incredibly wasteful; thankfully, I got over it.

Today's daily freebie is a signed copy of Past Midnight. Because these posts went up so late, the drawing will remain open until Friday, October 8.

Party with Marley Gibson

Marley Gibson will always have a special place in my heart. Not only is she a genuine, open, and caring person, she is also the one who gave me the referral to meet my fabulous agent, Elaine.

She has the most fascinating life. She calls Boston home, but most of the time, she lives and travels in an RV with her significant other, filmmaker Patrick Burns, and they chase ghosts. Really. Which is how Marley brings the authenticity to her YA series, Ghost Huntress. Book four, The Counseling just hit the shelves in September.

Here's the back cover blurb for Ghost Huntress: The Counseling:

Kendall has just discovered who Emily really is, lost her boyfriend, and nearly died doing the thing she loves most--ghost hunting. It's time to take a break and try to reconcile all the changes she's going through. So Kendall heads to the Sierra Mountains, where there's a camp especially for young people with gifts such as hers. It's a time for reflection and self-discovery.
But when she gets to California, she once again finds restless spirits--and the boy in her last vision. It may be the end of one chapter of her life and the beginning of a new one.

Her Reading and Reaction:

Your compound number values are ten, sixteen, and twenty-one.

Ten is a number of honor, of faith and of self-confidence. Ten is a fortunate number that indicates that one’s plans are likely to be carried out – however, it is symbolized by the wheel of fortune, which can signal a rise and fall in success.

This is pretty cool because last year was a rough one for me. I went through a divorce and a job loss and two moves, so there was definitely rising and falling in my "success." However, through that, I gained self-confidence and my plans from then have definitely been carried out!

Sixteen is a warning to guard against the defeat of one's plans. It should be carefully noted and plans made in advance to avert its fatalistic tendency. Sixteens should trust their intuition in order to avoid hardship.

Good advice! I tend to be a smidgety bit of a procrastinator. Goes back to my college days of cramming the night before the test. But, I always get things done. So I'll try to trust my intuition more and plan ahead more.

Twenty-one signifies an initiation to a new level of wisdom and stature that appeared impossible before. It is the number of advancement, honors, and general success, though victory generally comes after long initiation and tests of determination.

Oooo! I like advancement, honors, and general success! LOL!! If there's one thing I'm made of, it's certainly determination. I recently sold a YA book called RADIATE which is fictionalized version of my experience with cancer when I was a cheerleader. This number points this everything I had to overcome and everything I hope to share in the book.

Your name number vibration is one.

The number one indicates someone who is creative, independent, original, individual. Ones are good self-starters and natural leaders. Ones show interest in the arts, such as singing, acting, writing, painting, and love to curl up with a good book.

Wow...is there a picture of me next to that definition in your book? LOL!! I'm a self-starter, alright, and I do have a love of the arts. I like this reading. Very cool and very much who I am.

You can read more about Marley at ghosthuntress.com or marleygibson.com.

Today's daily freebie is a signed copy of Mara Purnhagen's Past Midnight. Because of the lateness of the posts today, this drawing will remain open until Friday, October 8.

Party with Lauren Strasnick

Lauren has extra reason to party today. It's her release day!!!

Today is the book birthday for Lauren's new book, Her and Me and You. To celebrate, we're turning this into a double post - so any comments left below, congratulating Lauren on her release will count for double entries!

About Lauren:

Lauren grew up in Connecticut, but now lives in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of Emmerson College and the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) MFA Writing Program. She enjoys dancing, singing and all things creative.

About Her and Me and You:

First love, broken friendships, and heartache all play a part in this evocative, voice-driven novel about Alex, a girl whose world is ripped apart when her father’s affair splits her family in two.

Alex moves with her mess of a mother to a new town, where she is befriended by hot, enigmatic Fred–and alternately flirted with and cold-shouldered by Fred’s twin sister, Adina. Others warn Alex to steer clear of the twins, whose sibling relationship is considered abnormal at best, but there’s just something about Fred–and something about Adina–that draws Alex to them and makes her want to be part of their crazy world, no matter the consequences.

Kirkus calls Her and Me and You "Complex and thought-provoking."
A GCC interview:
An
Have you ever fallen for a guy with an anorexic, drunk, possessive, twin sister?

No.

Are you superstitious in any way?

Um, yes! In every way. It's a daily battle between my rational, sensible mind, and the crazy-paranoid superstitious voices that loop around in my brain.
ind, and the crazy-paranoid s
Do you have any special writing rituals or totems to connect with your muse?
I write in bed. In total silence. It helps when the cat sleeps nearby, under the covers.

What are you working on now?

Another book for Simon Pulse: DAKOTA WEBB IS MISSING (slated for spring 2012). It’s a mystery! It’s also a book about identity and obsession.

What is an interesting writing quirk of yours?

I write with my hands tied behind my back. Kidding!

If Her and Me and You were made into a movie, who would you like to see in the role of Alex?
Oh! Hannah Murray. This adorable girl from the British teen series, SKINS. Only she's play an American.
I
Now for Lauren's numbers:

Your compound number values are twenty-two, twenty-four, and ten.

Ten is a number of honor, of faith and of self-confidence. Ten is a fortunate number that indicates that one’s plans are likely to be carried out – however, it is symbolized by the wheel of fortune, which can signal a rise and fall in success.

Twenty-two is a powerful number and often known as the Master Builder. Those influenced by twenty-two are often idealists and visionaries with the ability to manifest dreams into reality through vision and faith. The number can also be a warning, however, indicating a good person, a dreamer of dreams, who must act practically or risk wasting their potential.

Twenty-four is a favorable number, which signifies gifts and good fortune. Those influenced by this number are are cooperative, energetic, and accept the greatest challenges. They will likely enjoy the assistance and association of those of rank and position.

Your name number vibration is one.

The number one indicates someone who is creative, independent, original, individual. Ones are good self-starters and natural leaders. Ones show interest in the arts, such as singing, acting, writing, painting, and love to curl up with a good book.

And her reaction:

Surprisingly accurate! I am indeed creative and independent. And I absolutely do show an interest in writing, ha (& singing! Along w/ the stereo!).

Except for Ten's threat of a rise and fall in success (yikes!), these numbers sound great -- the promise of such good fortune! I do think, in regards to my writing life -- I've always had some sort of blind belief that i'd succeed. There was never a Plan B, you know? I suppose that suggests a certain amount of faith & self-confidence (or stupidity & stubbornness!). I am an idealist. Also, a dreamer. I'd like to think i'm cooperative too, and that i rise to friendly challenges! Although the people who know me best me might say something else entirely... :)

Thanks for including me, Linda! This was fun.

You can read more about Lauren at LarenStrasnick.com.

Today's daily giveaway are signed copies of Dark Flame and Radiance by Alyson Noel.
