Freebies Galore!

As promised, today is a multi-book Freebie Friday.
Link
I should start by explaining that I have a sickness. I can't stop myself from buying books. I walk into a bookstore and I'm a goner. No, it doesn't even have to be a bookstore... I can't walk by the book section at WalMart or Target without coming away with a new book, either.

The problem is, my bookshelves are overflowing. My piles are spawning new piles. So as much as I hate to part with any book, I need to make room for more. Especially when I know CRAZY BEAUTIFUL is going to arrive on my doorstep any day now...

So for today's freebie, take a look at today's offering. Leave a comment below, telling me which four books you most want me to send you and why. The winner will be drawn on Wednesday, August 26th.

Apologies to my friends overseas, but since the books will be heavy and thus expensive to send, this freebie is going to have to be limited to readers in the continental United States.

I'm the same way with book stores. That's why I've banned myself for the sake of my wallet, not my shelves. haha

I'd love to read Impossible, The Explosionist, Luxe, and Rumors. I've heard great things about three of these, but I have never heard of the Explosionist, and that just looks like an awesome read! :)

City of Ashes, City of Bones, Luxe, and Rumors. If you're going to get books, you want the set, right? You can't separate twins, it's a felony (or I shall make it one when I become Empress of the US... uh, ok, bad idea). I've probably been eying those books forever, but as a college student funds are a little tight.

Cassandra Clare has the best name, first of all, and she's a great writer. Her imagination is beautiful. And I'm jealous of her agent.

Anna Godbersen is writing about rumors and love and gossip and betrayal! How the heck can you say no to that!

I'm a senior in college and my dream is that after I graduate and get my own place I will have my very own home library (the most awesome there ever was!) That gives me a year to collect books! Why not get the collection rolling with the best books out there?

Anyway, I've talked you to boredom and (eventually) death. I'll shut up now.

If you can get the package to California before the 30th, I will join! (I will be off to Cali tomorrow from Canada for vacation of a week).

I would like Rumors, City of Bones, City of Ashes, and Pants on Fire. I already have The Luxe so I look forward to that. Never read Cassandra Clare's series so I want to see what's that all about. And I love Pants on Fire by Meg Cabot!

I'm the same way - I need therapy I'm a book-buying-a-holic :P

I'd absolutely love to read City Of Bones, City Of Ashes, Rumors and The Luxe. Both sets of 2 are part of 2 series I've had amazing things about and I haven't gotten around to getting yet.

Brooke, The Explosionist is awesome!

Most of my time in book stores is spent glancing longingly at the books I wish to take home with me. As a high school student trying to save a few books for college, it isn't too often that I get to walk out with an arm load full of books. However, it happens a lot more often that it probably should. :D

Out of these lovely books, I'd like to read The Explosionist, Impossible, City of Bones, and City of Ashes. A friend has told me that I really need to read the books by Cassandra Clare. She usually makes good suggestions, and they do look interesting. I've read a couple positive reviews of The Explosionist, and it does sound cool. I've never heard of Impossible, but I like the title and cover. Plus, I just googled for a summary, and it sounds pretty great as well.

Thanks for the great contest! :)

This is a hard decision!

Twisted because Laurie Halse Anderson is an amazing writer and I've only read Wintergirls and Speak. I'm curious to read something from her with a male protagonist.

The Explosionist because it caught my attention when it first came out, but I haven't gotten around to getting it yet. It sounds so intense in so many ways and I would love to read it.

The Luxe because most bloggers adore these books, and because I love the Gemma Doyle books, which Amazon says are similar to these (and the Internet never lies right?).

City of Bones because bloggers are RAVING about these books and I've considered reading them, but never have. They sound great, so why not now?

I own Luxe and Envy. Just missin Rumors now!

The Explosionist--it's shiny lol

The Luxe, Rumors, Impossible, and Pants on Fire.

Now, I have read all these books but do not own any of them. I would love to, though!!

The Luxe and Rumors are among my favorite books and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Impossible was crazy good. I loved the riddle that the main character had to solve.

And Pants on Fire. I mean, come on! It's Meg Cabot!! She is so good and I haven't read this book in soooo long.

I'd love City of Ashes, City of Bones, Impossible, and Twisted. I've heard great things about the Cassandra Clare books but haven't read them. Impossible has been on my wishlist for a while now. And I've read a few of Laurie Halse Anderson's other books and am curious about Twisted.

City of Ashes, Luxe, Rumors, and The Explosionist seem like great reads. I've read City of Bones and I really want to read the sequel, but since money is tight I'm not able to. It's the same thing with the Luxe series. I've never heard of The Explosionis, but it seems like a interesting book.

I have books everywhere too! I would love to read Luxe, Rumors, ( I have heard such great things about both of these books) City of Ashes (I have City of Bones) and The Fortunes of Indigo Skye (I really like the cover).

Same here! When I'm at a bookstore, I want to buy every other book I see! Unfortunately, my wallet isn't all that supportive of that! Normally, I have to resort to the library :P

I would love City of Bones, because I've heard such great things about Cassandra Clare's series, but haven't had a chance to read them yet :(

I would also love love to have Twisted because I really enjoy Laurie Halse Anderson's novels and I haven't read this one yet!

Teen Idol would also be great cause every now and then I like a more light-hearted read. All that heavy stuff and textbook work for school makes you want a happier read! & of course, Meg Cabot's a great author!

I'd really like a copy of The Luxe as well, since my sister is racing through the series (after discovering them at the library) and has good things to say about it! I know she'd really like to have a copy of the series for her own since she's enjoying it so much, and I'd love to see what the series is all about as well!

sry for this long post!

thanks for hosting this fantastic freebie friday!! :D
best,
Dominique

I would love city of bones, city of ashes, twisted and the explosionist (this is my first time hearing about this book!). I read City of Bones, loved it and I must know what happens with Clary, Simon and Jace... I already read twisted, but I have yet to own it. I'd love to have it sitting on my shelf!

Stopping yourself from buying books is so so hard but you can do it! I'm curbing back my literary appetite, and my wallet is much more plump with cash, lol.

I'd love The Explosionist, City of Bones, City of Ashes, and The Fortunes of Indigo Skye. I've been dying to read the last 3, and the first one sounds so fascinating!

I would love to include Luxe and Rumors to my personal library. I have read all three in the series but do not own them (I love me some historical fiction!). The other two choices I have is Impossible and The Explosionist, because they both have covers that drew my attention(and they look like they might also fall under the historical fiction category).

Hope you chose to pimp my library! lol

The book I want to read the most is The Explosionist! I have wanted to read this book for what seems like forever! It's an alternate history book, which is pretty hard to find in YA, and I love that kind of book! I'm even writing an alternate history novel right now!

I NEED City of Ashes because I own City of Bones and I have to have the next book!

Ditto for Rumors because I have The Luxe and NEED the next book in the series!

And lastly, The Fortunes of Indigo Skye because I've never read a Deb Caletti book (*gasp*) and I've heard this one is good.
