In Memory

She was always laughing. She had a fabulous sense of humor and made you feel happy just by being around her. She had a strong Minnesota accent and liked to draw out her o's much longer than necessary. She was the first one who introduced me to Yaya's Greek seasoning. She stored her baked goods (store bought) in her oven because she no longer had any desire to use the oven for its intended purpose. She collected dolls - the quirkier, the better. Even when she became ill and lost her eyesight, she was able to joke about it. She was a delight. Gila, you will be missed.
