LATTE 2 - MICOL OSTOW

Huge welcome to Micol Ostow, whose book POPULAR VOTE was just released a few weeks ago. Timely topic, huh? But relax, we're talking student body president here, no lipstick, no pigs, just plain fun. (Ironic to be talking elections and lies at the same time, huh?)

I am a HORRIBLE liar and therefore really try to avoid it at all costs. Seriously, my face gets bright red and I almost always slip up. I can't even buy presents in advance of holidays and birthdays, since eventually I give the surprise away.

Think I'm exaggerating? I knew that my best friend's boyfriend (now husband) was planning on proposing to her a week before he actually did it, and I literally had to avoid her calls all week. I don't think she suspected anything, thank goodness, but it was tough sledding there for me.

I'm also the friend that everyone goes to for the honest truth about haircuts and outfits and things like that. For better or for worse.
