How would you like to be to-die-for gorgeous and have power over all men—from your overly strict dad to that gorgeous guy at school who (until now) hasn’t given you a second glance?
Personally, I think it would be a dream come true! But when 16 year-old Roxy Zimmerman discovers she’s a Siren straight out of Greek mythology, she soon realizes the downside to her heritage. In order to remain a Siren and, more importantly, protect Sirens of today and tomorrow, Roxy must not let anyone know she is one. Not even her best friend, Natalie. Of course, Natalie is the first to notice that something is very different with Roxy and starts asking questions …
Now I have a question for you. What’s the lamest lie you’ve ever told?
I’ll start by revealing that when I was about 4, I wanted to make it seem like the Easter Bunny liked me more than my little sister. So on Easter morning, I took $20 from my mom’s wallet, rolled it, and slipped it into one of the plastic eggs in my basket. Needless to say, my parents knew I was lying when I said the Easter Bunny brought it.
Reveal the lamest lie you’ve ever told for a chance to win an autographed copy of The Secret Life of a Teenage Siren. (That way, you can find out what happens when Roxy has to lie to her best friend.)
Thank you so much for being a part of Linda Gerber’s exciting book launch. After reading Death by Bikini, I’m excited to drink in Aphra’s latest adventures in Death by Latte.
